The NDHSAA sets the enrollment figures that determine school classification. The predicted enrollment numbers would put Horace HS at a similar enrollment to Devils Lake, Wahpeton, and Valley City. Those schools currently play at AA for football and Class A in all other sports as members of the EDC. Conference affiliation will determine much of the schedule but there is room for some non-conference games which will provide an opportunity to play schools with similar or smaller enrollments.
