Banister Named to United Way's 35 Under 35 Leadership Program
West Fargo, ND – (December 15, 2021) – West Fargo Public Schools’ Courtney Banister, speech-language pathologist, has been named to the United Way of Cass-Clay’s 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program.
Banister began her career in speech-language pathology in 2011 as an early childhood special education speech-language pathologist for West Fargo Public Schools. In her current position as a speech-language pathologist, she provides speech therapy services to students at the Early Childhood Center. She holds a master’s degree in speech-language pathology and a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology, both from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
According to the United Way of Cass-Clay, the goal of the 35 Under 35 Women’s Leadership Program “is to inspire local women from all backgrounds to make a difference, help them realize their leadership skills and energize their collective power as women in our community.”
As a member of the 2022 class, Banister will attend six days of professional development between January – June, with sessions focusing on leadership, conflict management, public speaking, communication, goal-setting, and personal growth.
