Rudolph Named Next Principal of Cheney Middle School
West Fargo, ND – (March 29, 2021) – It is with great pleasure that Superintendent Beth Slette and Dr. Allen Burgad, Secondary Assistant Superintendent, announce Mrs. Amber Rudolph has accepted the position as the next principal for Cheney Middle School.
Mrs. Rudolph began her career in education with West Fargo Public Schools. From 2004 – 2008, she was an English language arts teacher at West Fargo High School and from 2008 – 2013, she was an English language arts teacher at the Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center. In 2013, she was selected as an assistant principal at Cheney Middle School.
Mrs. Rudolph holds a bachelor’s degree English education from North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from North Dakota State University. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher in early adolescence English language arts.
After interviewing and subsequently selecting Mrs. Rudolph from a pool of highly qualified candidates, Dr. Burgad said, “Over the course of her career at West Fargo Public Schools, Mrs. Rudolph has grown to be a skilled leader and collaborative educator. She actively strives to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. She has an unyielding passion for student growth, and places high importance on providing students with a safe learning environment so that they can arrive each day at Cheney Middle School ready, and wanting, to learn. Her continued leadership will not only benefit Cheney Middle School, but the entire district.”
Mrs. Rudolph will assume her new duties on July 1, following the retirement of current principal, Mr. Don Lennon.
