West Fargo Public Schools Amends Spectator Guidelines

WEST FARGO, ND – (December 11, 2020) – West Fargo Public Schools is amending its spectator guidelines for activities to align with the North Dakota High School Activities Association’s newly release guidelines. West Fargo Public Schools will now allow a maximum of 25% of the facility’s capacity per event, not to exceed 150 spectators.

In venues where capacity allows, each participant on both home and away teams will receive two vouchers to purchase a ticket per event. A voucher must be presented to purchase an event ticket. The number of vouchers may be reduced based on facility capacity. Non-ticketed events will be limited to two spectators per participant.

At the middle school level, all three middle schools will allow one spectator per participant per event for both the home team and the visiting team.

Spectators are asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the event’s scheduled start time.

Masks are required for all fans, and table, sideline, and media personnel during contests. Media members wishing to cover contests are encouraged to contact school administration in advance. West Fargo Public Schools reserves the ability to implement more stringent limitations if deemed necessary.

When possible, home athletic contests will be livestreamed through WFPS YouTube channels or third-party vendors. Links to those contests will be found on Sheyenne High School's Mustang Live Stream, Horace High School's Hawk Live Stream, West Fargo High School Packer Live Stream, Cheney Middle School's Packer Live Stream, Heritage Middle School's Hawk Live Stream, and Liberty Middle School's Mustang Live Stream
