West Fargo, ND – (May 6, 2022) – West Fargo Public Schools invites families to attend a new, informative event aimed at supporting the mental health and wellness of the community’s youth.
A virtual family mental health night is scheduled for 7:00PM – 8:00PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. The event provides an opportunity for participants to ask questions of leading family therapists and take advantage of a free resource to help families with important topics such as identifying anxiety, depression, grief, suicide ideation, and parenting with a purpose. This is the second such event held this spring, with the first one in April drawing more than 70 registrations and ultimately 20 participants.

For those unable to attend, additional resources are available through Parent Guidance, an online resource providing on-demand virtual courses, professional support, and a safe community for families to learn how to support child and receive answers to mental health questions. All courses are created by therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other certified mental health practitioners.
This virtual event and resources are made possible through a grant provided by the Cook Center for Human Connection.
