Holder Named Next Principal of Liberty Middle School
West Fargo, ND – (March 24, 2022) – It is with great pleasure that Mrs. Beth Slette, Superintendent, and Mr. Vince Williams, Secondary Assistant Superintendent, announce Mr. Dan Holder has accepted the position as the next principal for Liberty Middle School.
Holder began his career in education in 2002 as a social studies teacher at West Fargo High School. During this time, he also spent two years serving as the school’s part time dean of students. In 2011, he accepted the position of assistant principal at West Fargo High School, a position he held until transferring to an assistant principal position at Liberty Middle School in 2014.
Holder holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from North Dakota State University and a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
After interviewing and subsequently selecting Mr. Holder, Mr. Williams said, “West Fargo Public Schools has been fortunate to have Mr. Holder on staff for two decades. In this time, he has proven himself to be a forward-thinking educator and a compassionate leader and colleague. His vision for Liberty Middle School and West Fargo Public Schools aligns with the district’s mission to educate all learners for tomorrow’s world. The role he has played in building the Liberty Middle School community will be an invaluable asset for further student and staff success.”
Mr. Holder will assume his new position at Liberty Middle School on July 1. He replaces Mrs. Michelle Weber, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
