Braddock Recognized by Council for Exceptional Children
West Fargo, ND – (August 12, 2021) – Each week leading up to their 100th birthday, the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) is sharing stories from teachers around the world who have shown a passion, dedication, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of their students. For their first recognition, the Council has recognized West Fargo Public Schools’ Mrs. Amy Braddock.
Braddock is a special education teacher at Harwood Elementary School. In her 12 years with the district, she has served as an assistive technology specialist, high school comprehensive student support program teacher, and most recently as an elementary special education teacher. She serves as the past-president of the North Dakota Council for Exceptional Children unit and serves on the association’s leadership development committee.
Braddock holds a master’s degree in special education from the University of North Dakota and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
