WEST FARGO HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER EARNS ACCOLADES

West Fargo, ND – (October 5, 2022) – The Communication, Speech, Theatre, Association of North Dakota has named West Fargo High School teacher Kelsey Johnson the CSTAND Teacher of the Year. One teacher from across the state is selected each year for this honor.
CSTAND is a professional organization for Speech, Debate, Speech, and Theater directors in high school, college/university, and community theaters in North Dakota. Their mission is to promote more effective Speech and Theatre Arts training within the various districts and regions of North Dakota. To be selected for this award the nominated teacher must: - Be a member of the CSTAND. - Have demonstrated excellence in teaching, developed instructional materials or designed novel approaches to teaching. - Have contributed to the activities of the Association.
This is the second time in ten years that a teacher from West Fargo Public Schools has been selected for this award. The selection pool includes all CSTAND members in the state including those in university programs. A full list of past award winners can be found at CSTAND - Teacher of the Year (google.com).
