Speech & Debate Students Headed to National Tournament

West Fargo, ND – (May 16, 2022) – Members of the West Fargo High School, Sheyenne High School, and Horace high School speech and debate teams excelled at the local North Dakota Roughrider District competitions and qualified for the National Speech & Debate Association’s national tournament scheduled for June 12 – June 17 in Louisville, Kentucky.

The West Fargo High School congress team is coached by Brittney Muske and Marc Michaelson; the speech team is coached by Dakota Breen, Brittney Muske, and Seth Schaefer.  The Sheyenne High School congress team is coached by Kelsey Johnson and Krista Hulderman; the debate team is coached by Nathan Kurtti and Steph Radle; the speech team is coached by Kelsey Johnson, Krista Hulderman, and Lisa Dullum. The Horace High School congress team is coached by Nathan Amberg and Cassidy Hughes; the debate team is coached by Nathan Amberg and Emily Klusman; the speech team is coached by Nathan Amberg, Jenny Krueger, Emily Klusman, and Cassidy Hughes.
