District Facility Rental Program to Reopen March 15
West Fargo, ND – (February 22, 2021) – In response to the state remaining in the low risk level, West Fargo Public Schools’ facility rental program is reopening on Monday, March 15.
Beginning Tuesday, February 23, community members can submit an online application if they wish to utilize district space (gymnasium, commons, library media centers, etc.) when the program reopens in March.
Masks are required for all participants, coaches, leaders, managers, and parents/guardians in attendance of a facility rental reservation. West Fargo Public Schools asks that managers encourage youth participants to practice physical distancing and proper hygiene while in a West Fargo Public Schools building.
PROGRAM RESERVATIONS & FEES
Organizations wishing to reserve a gym court will be assessed a fee of $50 per hour per space. However, organizations that are comprised of at least 85% West Fargo Public Schools students are eligible to receive up to two 60-minute contracted reservations per week at a rate of $15 per hour. Any additional reservations beyond the initial two hours will be assessed a fee of 50% of the stated fee structure, or $25 per hour per court. While gym courts are the most popular spaces for community organizations, others spaces are available per district policy.
Reservations are accepted at elementary schools from 6:00PM – 9:00PM and middle schools from 8:00PM – 10:00PM. The facility rental program is closed on Wednesday evenings, but does offer availability on the weekends for an additional cost.
