West Fargo, ND – (May 10th, 2023) – It is with great pleasure that Mr. Vincent Williams, Secondary Assistant Superintendent, and Dr. Pamela Cronin, Principal at Horace High School, announce that Dr. Aimee Volk has accepted the position of Assistant Principal at Horace High School.

Dr. Volk has 26 years of experience in education and first worked with WFPS in 1997. Volk has held teaching roles at the elementary, middle, and collegiate levels and has most recently been working as the Dean of Students at Horace High School. Additionally, Volk serves as a KnowledgeWorks Consultant Coach and as a North Dakota State Literacy Team and Coaching Cadre Lead. Volk holds a doctoral degree in teaching and learning from the University of North Dakota, a master’s degree in reading from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education also from MSUM. 

After interviewing and subsequently selecting Dr. Volk, Cronin stated, "Aimee is innovative and always puts learners first. She is continually furthering her own learning while looking for resources or new ideas to implement to make Horace High School the best it can be for our learners and educators!”

Dr. Volk will assume her new role on July 1st, 2023.
