Lachowitzer Named Assistant Principal at Sheyenne High School
West Fargo, ND – (June 25, 2021) - It is with great pleasure that Mr. Vince Williams, incoming secondary assistant superintendent, and Mr. Ryan Salisbury, incoming principal for Sheyenne High School, announce Mr. Seth Lachowitzer has accepted the position as assistant principal for Sheyenne High School.
Lachowitzer started his career in education at Circle of Nations Indian Boarding School, where he worked in special education. He joined the staff of Sheyenne High School in 2014, where he taught social studies before serving as the multitiered systems of support (MTSS) coach.
Lachowitzer holds two bachelor’s degrees from Minnesota State University – Moorhead: one in social studies and the other in special education. He has a master’s degree in educational leadership from North Dakota State University.
After interviewing and subsequently selecting Mr. Lachowitzer, Mr. Salisbury said, “As a veteran member of the Mustang faculty, Mr. Lachowitzer has cultivated strong relationships amongst students, families, and staff that will serve him well as he transitions into this new role. His previous experiences with training and data analysis, as well as his understanding of our core and social-emotional curriculum, will be valuable additions to our administrative team at Sheyenne.”
Mr. Lachowitzer will assume his new role on July 1.
