West Fargo, ND – (April 28th, 2023) – It is with great pleasure that Dr. Rachael Agre, Elementary Assistant Superintendent, announces that Mr. Thomas Gruchow has accepted the position of Principal at Eastwood Elementary School. 

Mr. Gruchow has eight years of experience in public education, all at Eastwood Elementary. While he has held various roles during his tenure, he has served as the Assistant Principal at Eastwood for the last two years. Additionally, he has served as their 21st Century Site Coordinator for four years and has five years of experience as a middle school basketball and football coach. Gruchow has a graduate degree in leadership administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a bachelor’s degree in elementary inclusive education, also from MSUM.  

After interviewing and subsequently selecting Mr. Gruchow, Dr. Agre stated, “Tom’s ability to build and sustain relationships with learners, staff, and families has been valuable to Eastwood and to our district. He is knowledgeable and passionate about meeting learners where they are and helping them on their journey to becoming choice ready, contributing members of our community and society.” 

Mr. Gruchow will assume his new role on July 1st, 2023.
