2021 - 2022 Kindergarten Preregistration Now Open
West Fargo, ND – (March 1, 2021) – Preregistration is now open for 2021 - 2022 kindergarten at West Fargo Public Schools. The enrollment process at West Fargo Public Schools is done in two phases: preregistration and registration. The initial preregistration form must be completed once for each new student enrolling in the district; it is available online for families’ convenience.
As required by North Dakota Century Code, children must be five years old on, or before, July 31, 2021 to attend kindergarten in 2021 - 2022. Prior to the first day of school on August 26, each registered child must provide a digital copy of a current immunization record, proof of identity (birth certificate, visa, I-94, or other government-issued ID), and proof of residency.
Families requiring technical assistance in the kindergarten preregistration process may contact their neighborhood school to schedule an appointment for Monday, March 29 or Tuesday, March 30. A family’s neighborhood elementary school may be identified by entering their residential address in the district’s online map system.
Additional information on the preregistration process, including the required documentation and immunizations, can be found at http://www.west-fargo.k12.nd.us/families/registration.
