West Fargo, ND – (April 24th, 2023) – It is with great pleasure that Mr. Logan Midthun, District Activities Director, announces Mr. James Moe has accepted the position of Activities Director at Sheyenne High School. 

Mr. Moe has 14 years of experience in public education, with seven of those in West Fargo Public Schools. Additionally, he has 15 years of experience as a varsity soccer coach in both assistant and head coaching roles. During his tenure he was involved in five state championship teams. Moe received EDC Coach of the Year for boys’ soccer in 2017 and 2020 along with State Coach of the Year for boys’ soccer in 2013 and 2020. He was most recently working as an Assistant Principal with Fargo Public Schools. Moe has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, also from MSUM. 

After interviewing and subsequently selecting James Moe, Mr. Midthun stated "James has had many valuable experiences during his time in education which have prepared him for an activities director position. Whether it was as a coach, teacher, or administrator, James has distinguished himself as someone who leads with an authentic, hard-working, and caring attitude. Sheyenne High School has strong athletic/activity programs and Mr. Moe will be a great fit to continue those successes and provide quality experiences for kids."

Mr. Moe will assume his new role on July 1st, 2023.
