    WFPS Speech and Debate Teams Qualify for Nationals

    Members of the West Fargo High School, Sheyenne High School, and Horace High School speech and debate teams excelled at the local North Dakota Roughrider District competitions and qualified for the National Speech & Debate Association’s National Tournament scheduled for June 12 – June 16 in Phoenix, Arizona.

  • Principals Announced for Two WFPS Elementary Schools

    It is with great pleasure that Dr. Rachael Agre, Elementary Assistant Superintendent, announces the in-district transfer of principals at two West Fargo Public Schools elementary schools. Ms. Tabatha Joyce will transfer to the principal position at L.E. Berger Elementary School and Mr. Michael Shea will transfer to the principal position at the new Meadowlark Elementary School.

    Harwood Learner Earns National Recognition

    Duane O’Neill, of Harwood, ND, received the 2023 Yes I Can Award for Academics from the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). Duane was honored March 3rd along with other Yes I Can recipients at the CEC Convention and Expo in Louisville, KY. Duane was unable to travel to Louisville and was instead presented his award during an all-school assembly this week at Harwood Elementary in front of staff, his family, and peers.

    Sheyenne High School Debate Members Make National Tournament

    Two members of the Sheyenne High School Debate Team nationally qualified in Public Forum Debate at the NSDA North Dakota Roughrider National Debate Qualifier Tournament held at the Ramada Inn in Fargo, ND. This is the second year in a row that Hosna Dawlaty and Vidyaa Lav have qualified in the Public Forum Debate. They will be representing West Fargo Sheyenne High School and Team North Dakota in the National Speech and Debate Tournament that will be held June 11th-16th in Phoenix/Mesa, Arizona.
