Eastwood Elementary School provides an age-appropriate curriculum for literacy, math, science, and social studies. Students participate in physical education, music, art, and library on a regular basis. The school follows the West Fargo Elementary Behavior Plan, which introduces social skills and expectations, as well as implementing a building-wide positive reinforcement behavior plan.
The Eastwood Elementary School was built in 1973 and saw its first addition in 1983, which nearly doubled the size of the building. Another four classrooms were built in 2002. In 2003, the building was remodeled to add a cafeteria, kitchen, and office suite. The building occupies an 8.1-acre site and has 25 classrooms with a total student capacity of 550.
