Lodoen Kindergarten Center provides an age-appropriate curriculum for literacy, math, science, and social studies. Students participate in physical education, music, art, and library on a regular basis. The school follows the West Fargo Elementary Behavior Plan, which introduces social skills and expectations, as well as implementing a building-wide positive reinforcement behavior plan known as the Positive Packer Program.
The original building was built in 1976 and was remodeled in 1993 to become the Early Childhood Center. Additions were added in 2003 and 2008, with the last one allowing space for full-day kindergarten. The last addition also connected the center to the Lodoen Community Center. The building occupies a 15-acre site and has 20 classrooms with a total capacity of 440 students.
