West Fargo Public Schools: The District of Choice Since 1876
At the start of the 2015-16 school year, West Fargo Public Schools has nearly 9,500 students enrolled for the first day of classes. This is a drastic change from recent years, and even more extreme considering where the district started from almost 140 years ago. Our enrollment continues to grow, as does our city. The district has not only grown in enrollment, but also in physical size and the number of employees. About 1,700 employees work in the district’s 20 buildings – 17 schools, one district office, one bus garage, and one maintenance building – to serve and educate thousands of students every day. West Fargo Public Schools has proven itself to be the district of choice, not only today, but also 139 years ago when the district was first established.
