Advertising
West Fargo Public Schools creates and distributes numerous publications to students, staff, and families on a regular basis. External organizations wishing to communicate services, products, or programs for these audiences must do so at the district-level with the Public Relations Department. No individual district-wide handouts or requests for inclusion in school newsletters are permitted.
For information geared toward students in PreK-5th grade, noncurricular materials must be distributed through West Fargo Kid-Ventures. West Fargo Kid-Ventures is a monthly advertising catalog that is electronically distributed to West Fargo Public School families through the Blackboard Messaging System.
For information geared toward students in 6th-8th grade, noncurricular materials must be distributed through West Fargo Teen-Ventures. West Fargo Teen-Ventures is a monthly advertising catalog that is electronically distributed to West Fargo Public School families through the Blackboard Messaging System.
For information geared toward students in 9th-12th grade, noncurricular materials must be submitted to the Sheyenne High School and West Fargo High School student publications organization via the purchase of ad space in their monthly publications.
Regulations & Provisions
All ads must be electronically submitted as a PDF file. Scanned files are not accepted.
Be cognizant of the colors, fonts, sizes, contrasts, and images that are incorporated into your ad. West Fargo Public Schools places a high level of importance on stakeholder accessibility and works to ensure publications are legible to all individuals.
The use of colored ads and active hyperlinks are encouraged.
All ads will be printed as-is; it is not the responsibility of West Fargo Public Schools to proof or adjust the reproduction quality of any ad.
Ads are not kept from month to month. Ads must be resubmitted for every month it is to run in the publication.
West Fargo Public Schools reserves the right to refuse any submitted materials. Material cannot be used that exploits students, or where the sole purpose is commercial or political.
Publication in a West Fargo Public Schools publication does not constitute school district endorsement of a program, product, or service.
2024-25 School Year Pricing
Quarter Page (3.75 inches wide x 5.0 inches tall) = $50.00
Half Page (7.75 inches wide and 5.0 inches tall) = $75.00
Full Page (7.75 inches wide and 10.25 inches tall) = $100.00
There is no charge to submit an ad for WFPS sponsored programs from staff.
Note: Submit an ad through West Fargo Kid-Ventures, and receive 50% off an ad in West Fargo Teen-Ventures for the same month’s publication. Organizations that are not-for-profit or government entities should contact the Public Relations Department regarding the possibility of a reduced advertising rate. Organizations will be billed for their advertisements on a monthly basis; do not submit payment until an invoice is received.
