GAAC-AP: Review & Reconsideration of Instructional, Library, & Resource Materials

The District’s Review Committee shall address formal requests for reconsideration of instructional, library, and resource materials. This is done in order to consider the opinions of those persons in West Fargo Public Schools and the community who are not directly involved with the instructional and resource material selection process and to avoid the possibility of a biased or prejudicial attitude influencing selection.

All families of current learners, district residents, and current employees may make a request for reconsideration. Those requests for reconsideration of instructional, library, and resource material will be processed by the District’s Review Committee. The District will manage a maximum of three individual resources reconsidered at one time to ensure a timely and intentional process.
