FFM-AP: Position Statement on Student Law Violation

As elected representatives of the people of West Fargo Public School District No. 6, members of the school board are charged with providing education.  In no way do their responsibilities extend to law enforcement.

In all incidents of law violation, proper authorities will be informed; thereafter, the matter will be under their jurisdiction.

Attendance in school of students awaiting adjudication will be handled on an individual basis by the building principal.

The position of school counselor shall be privileged.  Knowledge gained in this office will not be subject to violation by the school board.
