Other Requirements

All kindergarten students and students new to the West Fargo School District must have completed North Dakota Health Department immunization forms in their cumulative folders.  In addition, these students must have on file either verification of a physical examination or completed health history forms.  Health history blank forms are provided by the school district and may be completed by parents or guardians.

Transfer students entering the West Fargo Public Schools should present a report card or other documentation to indicate recommended grade placement.

All pupils attending the West Fargo School District must reside with parents or guardians within the boundaries of the West Fargo School District.  Nonresident students will be admitted only by special permission of the school board.  The parent or guardian of a nonresident student shall make arrangements for tuition payments at the time of enrollment.

For nonresident students to attend school in the West Fargo School District, the school board may enter into agreements with other schools in lieu of tuition payments as provided by the North Dakota Century School Code.

The West Fargo School District will not enroll a student while the student is under suspension or expulsion from another school district unless the student has a disability in which case federal law requires the district to provide an appropriate program for the student through an Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.).
