DGHA-AP: Lactation Breaks
For up to one year after a child’s birth, any employee who is breastfeeding their child will be provided reasonable break time, as needed, to express breast milk. Each site will designate a private space, other than a restroom, that is shielded from view and free from intrusion, for this purpose.
If an employee believes that their rights under this policy have been violated, they must notify Human Resources in order to provide the required ten (10) day remedy period allowed under the PUMP act.
