DDDA-AP: Short-Term Professional Leave for Professional Staff

Professional leave shall be defined as short-term leave granted only to enhance teaching, supervisory or administrative competencies.

Those who would like to take professional leave must fill out a professional leave request at least two weeks prior to event. The building principal and the assistant superintendent must review and act upon the leave request. The assistant superintendent may waive the two-week notice under extenuating circumstances.
