Looking for a time to allow your baby/toddler to become accustomed to the pool without dealing with the noise and chaos of sharing space with the big kids?
Tot Time takes place in the hour before the lesson pool opens for regular open swim. This gives parents an opportunity to introduce infants and toddlers (age 4 and under) to the water without interference from older children. Various water toys will be available for use during this time.
On the second Friday during the month of June through August, Tot Time participants will be able to work through guided swim skill stations designed to help children adjust to the water and learn basic water skills.

Regulations & Procedures

- Participants are encouraged to come dressed ready to swim.
- All non-potty-trained children must wear a disposable swim diaper.
- Attentive adult (18 years of age) supervision is required of all children.
- Children six years of age or under must always be accompanied in the water by an adult who is within arm’s reach of them or wears a US Coast Guard-approved lifejacket in all bodies of water.
- For infants and toddlers (3 years of age or younger), an adult should be in the water and within arm’s reach, providing “touch supervision.”
