Kelsey Johnson
Kelsey Johnson spends her time immersed in words and language at WFHS. She currently teaches English II, dual credit speech, and theatre arts classes. In December 2020, Kelsey graduated with an MFA in Forensics (Communication) from Minnesota State University, Mankato; she also holds a BA in English Education from NDSU and a BS in Theatre Arts and Drama from Washington State University (Go Cougs). When not in the classroom, Kelsey can be found coaching Student Congress and Speech at Sheyenne HS or directing the winter play at WFHS. She serves on the WFPS Equity and Inclusion task force, is a co-chair for the National Speech and Debate Association’s judge training and equity committee, and just finished presiding over the ND Council of Teachers of English from 2019-2021.
