Degrees and Certifications:
I was raised in North Dakota and graduated from Fargo South High School. I attended MSUM, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Language Arts. I have also lived and taught in Phoenix, AZ, as well as Austin and Dallas, TX.
I moved back home after the birth of my son, who is now twelve years old and in 7th grade this year. We have a 4-year-old Great Golden Dane dog.
This is my thirteenth year at WFHS, but I have taught for 18 total years. In my free time, I spend it with family/ friends, working on projects around the house, riding bike, going to the lake and winning at BINGO. What I love best about WFHS are my amazing coworkers and students that make my love for teaching continue as well as grow. Those who know me would describe me as passionate, entertaining, caring, kind, unique, positive, and enthusiastic. Ninth grade is my favorite subject to teach as I love the curriculum. I am a HUGE fan of short stories, Mythology, and most importantly Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare!!
