I am a teacher of English as a second language to students in social studies classes. I teach US History level one and two. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College Moorhead with a double major in history and in education. I received my certificate to teach English as a second language in 2020. The same year I also began my career in teaching AVID 9. This is my third year teaching AVID grade 9 and I enjoy getting to see a wide range of students and help with the sometimes difficult transition to high school, while also looking forward to a future of post-secondary education, careers or the military. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead. I plan to finish my master’s degree program in the fall of 2023. And last but not least myself and my co worker Mrs. Piekutowski are Prom Committee, Junior Class advisors and hosts of prom during the year. It is such a fun event to get the Junior class involved in, and pull off every year!
