Seth Schaefer is from Oakes, North Dakota and moved to Fargo in 2016 to attend NDSU. He studied music education with a focus on percussion and jazz bass and received his degree in 2020. Seth was a part of the Gold Star marching band his whole college career and was a drum major his final season. He has also traveled to Europe with NDSU’s Wind ensemble, which was the first American ensemble to ever perform at the Spanish hall in the Prague Castle. Besides music, Seth enjoys collecting comic books, buying records, and playing Magic: the Gathering.
