Teresa BlackCloud is currently in her 7^th year of teaching at West Fargo High School as a English Learner (EL) Language Arts and Reading teacher. Her first year of teaching was for Park River Area School District as the 7-9 English Language Arts teacher. This year she teaches EL Language Arts IV, EL Read180, and EL Reading. In 2021, she started a new role as a Restorative Practices Lead, working to help students and staff to address conflict in order to repair harm and relationships in the school. This role includes Restorative mediation, leading the Circle process of building relationships in the classroom, and facilitating professional development opportunities. Also, Mrs. BlackCloud is working on her graduate degree in School Counseling through North Dakota State University with the goal to graduate in the spring of 2024. She loves music, spending time with her family, and being a part of her One West Fargo student group, which brings students together to recognize, celebrate, and share the multicultural knowledge at West Fargo High School. Mrs. BlackCloud is a proud Lakota member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.
