Mr. Logan Carlblom
Coach Carlblom is his 7th year teaching in West Fargo; all seven have been teaching physical education at Legacy Elementary school. He has also coached many sports for West Fargo at many different levels. Two years of freshmen basketball, four years of 7th/8th-grade basketball, and five years coaching varsity track (discus) for Sheyenne High.
Logan graduated from Lisbon, North Dakota, a three-sport athlete in basketball, football, and track. After high school, Carlblom spent one year at Valley City State University, where he played basketball. Following that year, Logan transferred to North Dakota State University to focus on his studies, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education. A couple of short years later, he received a master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
Logan is excited to build relationships with the coaching staff within the building and work with various groups of students to help each reach their potential. Assisting students in understanding and performing the foundational strength movements, understanding proper training methods, and preventing injuries are fundamental to maintaining a healthy lifestyle now and into the future.
