  • 2nd Place at State and 2nd Place at NSDA Qualifier

The 2021 Congressional Debate season finished in a fantastic way.  With a team of underclassmen, the second year Horace program was able to place 2nd out of 18 teams.  They had three state champions. Jayla Ridout (7th Grade) was presiding officer in House 6, Jordan Graves (9th Grade) was the champion in House 3, and Nadir Mohamed (10th Grade) was the champion in the top chamber in the state, Senate.  These are the first three state champions for any activity in the history of the school.

    Others placing:

Isabel Flanagan (7th Grade) placed 6th in House 6
Keagen Kratcha (8th Grade) placed 3rd in House 5
