Meet the Coaching Staff

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Megan Barbee

Hello! I am Coach Barbee. This is my fourth year coaching the girls’ Packers tennis team. Before coming to West Fargo High School, I was the assistant tennis coach for Fargo South for one year and for Shanley the year before that. Before coaching high school girls’ tennis, I worked a few years at Courts Plus assisting with MXP. I really enjoy teaching the game of tennis to others who enjoy the sport as much as I do. Not only is it a high school sport, but sport that you can play throughout your lifetime.

Before becoming a high school tennis coach, I played tennis for five years in high school. I was on the varsity Minot High School tennis team from eighth grade through my senior year. While playing in high school, I taught the game to children hoping that they would grow up loving the game as well. I really enjoy planning practices that are enjoyable as well as growing and developing better as a team. People who enjoy growing as a player and a person makes coaching even more enjoyable!

Along with being a coach, I am also a first-grade teacher. This is my fifth year teaching. This is my third year at Deer Creek Elementary and before that I was at Willow Park and Eastwood. As a side gig, I am a LimeLife beauty guide. Among all the busyness, I love to spend time with my husband and two dogs. Therefore, I love to stay busy and I LOVE everything that I do. The Packer’s team makes coaching enjoyable and I’m excited to see the potential each player brings to the team.
