Mr. Jordan Aus
Coach Aus is a native of Valley City, ND and is entering his 7th year as a track and field coach at Sheyenne and his 6th year as the boys head coach. Coach Aus has helped lead the Mustangs to EDC team championships in 2021 and 2022, along with a 3rd place team finish at the 2022 State Meet and a 4th place finish at the 2021 State Meet. Aus is a two-time State Coach of the Year, having been selected as the North Dakota Class A Boys Track and Field State Coach of the Year in 2021 and 2022, along with EDC Coach of the Year honors in 2021. Before coming to Sheyenne, Aus was a teacher and coach at Medina Public School in Medina, ND. Aus completed his bachelors degree from Valley City State University, where he was a 4-year letterman in Football and Track and Field. In 2018, he completed his masters degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Aus teaches U.S. Government, Economics, and AP Economics at Sheyenne. He is also a varsity assistant football coach.

Sheyenne Boys Track and Field Letter Requirements
To earn a varsity letter for Boys Track and Field, an athlete must meet one of the following criteria*: Place 1-8 at EDC, qualify for state in any event, compete in 4 consecutive seasons for Sheyenne Track and Field.
*Coach may use discretion to award a letter to athletes in extenuating circumstances that don't meet the above criteria
