Team Announcements

  • The first day of Girls Tennis is April 2nd, 2024 at the SHS tennis courts - 4pm

    Available for grades 7-12

    To be eligible to participate you must have: 

    1. Current physical exam dated on or after April 15, 2023  and the Risk and Consent Forms filled out. The physical should be uploaded and forms filled out using the registration sites:
      • Horace and Heritage participants register and sign forms HERE
      • Sheyenne and Liberty participants register and sign forms HERE
    2. Pay your activity fee by the end of the first week of practice on My School Bucks.

Mr. Chad Anderson

Chad Anderson is currently employed by WFPS as a Technology Engineering Education Instructor at Liberty Middle School and brings with him 18 years of experience as the Head Boys’ and Girls’ Tennis Coach at West Fargo High School. He is originally from Pierre, SD. He is a graduate of Northern State University, Aberdeen, SD, and earned his Bachelor Degree in Technology Engineering with minors in Physical Education and Coaching.


Mr. Anderson’s dedication to the development of tennis in West Fargo is noted and well recognized. Most recently, Mr. Anderson has been named State Coach of the Year Four times (2014 for boys and 2008, 2014, 2016 for girls). During his time at West Fargo High School and Sheyenne High School, Mr. Anderson was awarded Girls’ “EDC Coach of the Year” 2002, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and Boys’ “EDC Coach of the Year in 2014. Coach Anderson has also been nominated twice as a finalist for National Coach of the Year for NHSACA. He was also previously awarded the "Ward Burton Junior Development Tennis Award” for 2004 from the United States Tennis Association Northern Section for developing the junior tennis program in his Metro area.
