David Benson is entering his 2nd year as the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs Heach Coach. Coach Benson has previously spent the last two years as a Fargo Davies Assistant Coach. Prior to that, Coach Benson was the head coach at Fargo South and also spent four years as a Bantam Coach for the West Fargo Hockey Association. 

Coach Benson currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Sheyenne. Coach Benson and his wife Andrea also reside in West Fargo with their three children, Bennet, Brody, and Maria.
