    Sheyenne High School Counseling Mission Statement:

    Guided by the framework of the ASCA National Model, the mission of the Sheyenne High School comprehensive school counseling program is to support all learners in their academic, personal/social and career development.  The school counseling program partners with other educators and stakeholders to advocate for equity, access, and success for all while equipping students with the necessary skills to become responsible and productive citizens.

    Sheyenne High School Counseling Office Procedures:

    Learners may make appointments to see their school counselor during their in-person learning days or virtually on days when they are learning from home.

    • In-person appointments can be made by calling or visiting the counseling office.
    • Virtual learners who would like to set up an online counseling appointment, please email or Schoology message your school counselor.  The school counselor will get back to you with available appointment times for a Microsoft Teams meeting.Virtual counseling appointments are not intended for emergency situations* or long-term therapy.

    Office Hours:  8:00am - 3:50pm Monday - Friday following the WFPS district calendar

Announcements

  • ACT Testing Information 2023-2024

    All SHS Juniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT for free at Sheyenne High School on a school day in March 2024.

    Each school year the ACT is given nationally at different sites for any interested high school students.  This year's dates are Oct 28, Dec 9, Feb 10, April 13, June 8, and July 13. Students can choose to register, pay for, and take a nationally given ACT at any time during high school on their own time. Sheyenne High is not responsible for registering students for these exams and does not administer tests on any national exam days. Scores from all ACTs taken will be saved in a student's ACT profile.
