WEST FARGO, ND – (January 14, 2021) – Rashid Ibrahim, a paraprofessional at West Fargo High School, has been awarded a scholarship from the West Fargo Educational Foundation (WFEF) and Minot State University through WFEF’s Program for Inclusive Education.

Food Service Department Offering Free Meals for Winter Break
WEST FARGO, ND – (December 11, 2020) – The Food Service Department is offering free meal boxes to students for the holiday break. Families wishing to order a box must submit the online order form by Wednesday, December 16.

Learning Model for High School Students
We are in the planning stages for our second semester high school instructional program. Since WFPS released its Return to Learn plan, our goal has been to return students to fulltime, onsite learning as soon as possible based on data trends, our ability to adhere to multiple safety protocols, the sentiment of our stakeholders, and the guidance from our Return to Learn Advisory Committee.

Governor Updates Executive Order for Activities
Governor Burgum issued a revision to the Executive Order that suspended activities until December 14, 2020. The revised executive order now allows for practices to resume on November 30, 2020, and competitions to resume on December 14, 2020.

It's More than a Meal Application
West Fargo Public Schools participates in United States Department of Agriculture meal programs to provide breakfast and lunch to students. Federal funding is received for meals served to students based on eligibility levels. To determine eligibility, a free/reduced meal application must be completed each year by families who may qualify.
