  • District to Continue in Hybrid Model Until Further Notice

    At today’s special meeting of the School Board, approval was granted for the district to continue in the current hybrid instructional model until further notice.

  • October 12 School Board Decision & Next Steps

    At their regularly scheduled meeting on October 12, the West Fargo School Board authorized a change to the district’s Return to Learn Plan that allows up to 100% of students to be onsite while the county is in blue, green, or yellow risk levels.

  • Weekly Risk Level Status Check: Week of October 12

    The district’s executive leadership team, School Board President, and lead school nurse are meeting weekly with representatives from Fargo Cass Public Health and Essentia Health to discuss COVID-19 data and trends specific to Cass County. This information will be used to make any warranted adjustments to the district’s learning model and safety protocols.

  • Acknowledging Today's Principals

    As we think back to our own educational experiences, many of us probably feel like we know what a day in the life of a principal entails. You might assume that a principal greets students in the mornings, makes announcements, supervises the lunchroom, deals with disciplinary issues, supervises staff, manages a budget, and makes decisions about the general operations of the building. Although these duties are still true in 2020, they do not begin to touch on what our leaders do each and every day in West Fargo.
