  • District Prepares for Upcoming School Year

    In their final meeting of the 2020 - 2021 school year, the district's Return to Learn Advisory Committee overwhelmingly recommended that the district evaluate the outcome of the June 2021 health and safety protocols to determine a plan for the 2021 - 2022 school year.

  • Acknowledging Those Who Make Us the District of Choice

    In a first of its kind, West Fargo Public Schools is celebrating staff accomplishments and years of service at the annual staff recognition party on Monday, June 14. The newly formatted district staff recognition party honors the 2021-2022 Staff of the Year Award winners, state-level educator of the year awards, Apple Teachers, 2020-2021 retirees, and those meeting a significant milestone for years of service to West Fargo Public Schools.

    CTE of today has morphed into a vision of cutting-edge, rigorous, and relevant career and technical education programs that provide opportunities for students to explore and prepare for careers after high school. Curriculums aid students in identifying career pathways that lend to industry certifications, technical degrees, military, and college degree programs.

  • The Value of Community Collaboration

    The longer I am in education, the more importance I place on the value of collaboration. The school cannot solve today’s problems alone and relies on community partnerships to fill gaps. West Fargo Public Schools (WFPS) has had the privilege of working with many outside entities to solve problems like poverty, childhood hunger, closing the achievement gap, mental health, and preparing today’s learners for tomorrow's world.
