  • Return of PK - 5 Students for Onsite Instruction

    In our update to stakeholders on October 13, we shared that decisions on reentry will be made on a building-by-building basis (led by building principals and site-based leadership teams) with support from district leadership. We also promised families and staff a timeline for the transition of PK-5 students to an increased onsite instructional model for those that choose onsite learning; those details are included in this update.

  • Weekly Risk Level Status Check: Week of October 19

    The district’s executive leadership team, School Board President, and lead school nurse are meeting weekly with representatives from Fargo Cass Public Health and Essentia Health to discuss COVID-19 data and trends specific to Cass County. This information will be used to make any warranted adjustments to the district’s learning model and safety protocols.

  • District to Continue in Hybrid Model Until Further Notice

    At today’s special meeting of the School Board, approval was granted for the district to continue in the current hybrid instructional model until further notice.

  • October 12 School Board Decision & Next Steps

    At their regularly scheduled meeting on October 12, the West Fargo School Board authorized a change to the district’s Return to Learn Plan that allows up to 100% of students to be onsite while the county is in blue, green, or yellow risk levels.
