West Fargo High School

This is Paula’s 9th year with the West Fargo Packers.  During her time here in West Fargo, she has been head coach for three years (nonconsecutive) and assistant coach for six years (nonconsecutive).  She also teaches 7th grade mathematics at the Cheney Middle School.  Prior to coming to West Fargo, Pierson worked for the Central Cass School District for eight years where she taught 7th & 8th grade math and was the head volleyball coach.  In her eight seasons at Central Cass, she had six teams make it to the State tournament with the 1994 team winning the State Class B title.  Before coming back to her home state of North Dakota to teach, she taught for six years at Climax-Shelly, Minnesota.  Pierson taught 7th grade math and K-3 physical education.  In Climax-Shelly, Pierson was the head girls basketball coach for five years, assistant volleyball coach for four years, and coached girls track for one year.
