School hours: 8:05 am – 2:45 pm.

SCHOOL HOURS

The Westside School hours are from 8:05 AM to 2:45 PM. Morning supervision at the front door occurs from 7:50-8:05 AM. Therefore, we ask students that walk or are dropped off at school to arrive as close to 8:05 AM as possible. Students may enter the school building at 8:05 AM when the first bell rings. Bus students and walkers are dismissed at 2:45 PM.

Parents can only use the north loop to drop off or pick up their child. The south loop is only for buses and violators will be asked to move. For safety reasons, all visitors need to check in at the office. Parents cannot go directly to their child’s room to drop off items or pick up their child. Children must be signed in and out of the office by a parent or guardian. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. Thanks!

SCHOOL BOARD LIAISON TO WESTSIDE

Kay Kiefer

As the school board liaison to Westside Elementary School, I am interested in your thoughts, concerns and questions about the school system and your child’s education. My own three children spent the largest portion of their primary and secondary education years in the West Fargo School District, including Westside Elementary. My husband and I chose West Fargo when relocating to North Dakota in 1998 largely due to what we found when we visited area schools and administrators. West Fargo has a great school district, filled with caring and creative teachers, administrators and support staff. I want to help keep it that way as we go into the future.
