Sheyenne Ninth Grade Center

Student Led Conferences

2011-12

Parent–Teacher conferences at Sheyenne will be held four times during the year and will use a student led format. The dates for conferences will be on or around October 7, December 8, February 21, and April 26. Sheyenne staff will contact parents and set up appointments to meet with the students and parent(s). The majority of the conferences will be scheduled on the dates listed above but flexibility exists on the part of both staff member and parents to find another date that all parties can attend. In addition to an update in all of their classes, students will be sharing additional information with the parents on each of the conference dates. This will include but not be limited to the following information:

• October 6 - 4MAT (how students learn), MAP and how it relates to Goal 2011 in the district.
• December 8 - The student's electronic Personal Education Plan they have developed with the assistance of our counselors.
• February 21 - Registration final check prior to registering for classes at West Fargo High School.
• April 26 - MAP growth through the present school year.
