SCHOOL DESCRIPTION: The Clayton A. Lodoen Kindergarten Center is the educational facility for all kindergarten students living north of Interstate 94. Students living south of this line will attend the Osgood Kindergarten Center.

Our day will begin at 8:10 and dismissal begins at 2:15. There will be a breakfast and hot lunch program for those who choose to participate. Our staff includes 20 classroom teachers, 3 resource teachers, a speech and language pathologist, a media specialist, a counselor, 4 interventionists, 2 ELL teachers, 2 physical education teachers and 2 music teachers. A school psychologist, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist are available on a part time basis. We also have numerous other support staff to assure that each child is assisted appropriately.

We provide an age appropriate curriculum for literacy which includes reading, writing, speaking and listening expectations. Everyday Math provides the foundation for our numeracy curriculum. Special units in science and social studies, along with other topics of interest, are included throughout the school day. We follow the West Fargo Elementary Behavior Plan, which introduces social skills and expectations, and we reinforce positive behaviors through our Bee Positive Program. Our students participate in physical education, music and library on a regular basis.

We, along with the Osgood Kindergarten Center, are proud to provide the foundation for learning in the West Fargo Schools!
