ROUND-UP for 2012-2013 Kindergarten Students - All parents of 2012-13 kindergarten students need to attend Round-Up on Monday, March 5 or Tuesday, March 6 between 3:00 and 7:00 pm. This will be an open house format to fill out paperwork and should only take about 10-15 minutes of your time. Please bring copies of your child's birth certificate and immunization record. All kindergarten students living North of I-94 will attend the Lodoen Kindergarten Center. Please call the school at 701-356-2020 with any questions.

SCHOOL DESCRIPTION: The Clayton A. Lodoen Kindergarten Center is the educational facility for all kindergarten students living north of Interstate 94 (except for Amber Valley Parkway). Students living south of this line will attend the new Osgood Kindergarten Center.
Our day will begin at 8:10 and end at 2:30 for most students. There will be a breakfast and hot lunch program for those who choose to participate. Our staff includes 20 classroom teachers, 3 resource teachers, a speech and language practitioner, a librarian, a counselor, a reading interventionists, 2 physical education teachers and 2 music teachers. A school psychologist and several occupational and physical therapists are available on a part time basis.
We provide an age appropriate curriculum which includes reading, writing, speaking and listening activities along with special units in math, science and social studies. The Girls and Boys Town method of introducing social skills is used building wide. Our students participate in physical education, music and library on a regular basis.
