Activities

Art Club

  • An opportunity for students to create art with different mediums.

Online Math League 6

  • The Online Math League is an online math contest. Students are organized into grade level teams and complete three tests a year.

Drama

  • If any student would like to have the opportunity to act, this activity is available. The 7th and 8th grade play is in the fall and the 6th grade musical begins when school resumes in January.

Homework Room

  • The Homework Room is open to all students who need a quiet place to study before school Monday -Thursday. A teacher is available for student assistance.

Honor Band/Honor Choir/Orchestra

  • Membership is open to all students interested in a more challenging performing group, outside of their regular schedule.

Math Counts

  • A nationally sponsored program dealing with problem solving techniques not covered in the normal math routine.

Knowledge Master 6

  • Knowledge Master is a national academic competition. 7th and 8th graders will for a middle level team that will participate in two official online competitions and two or three face-to-face competitions with other area schools.

Speech

  • If any student would like to learn to speak in front of people, join Speech.

Student Council

  • For students interested in working on their leadership skills. Students should have concern for others in the school and community.

FACS Club

  • The FACS club is designed to provide our students with an extension of the FACS class curriculum and class.

Yearbook

  • Yearbook staff is open to all students. The goal for the club is to design, development, and sell the school yearbook.

National History Day

  • National History day is an academic competition in which students research a topic in history and present their findings through a paper, table top exhibit, performance, or documentary.
