BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE

At Aurora Elementary, I am proud to work alongside an extraordinary team whose collective goal is to both educate and nurture all of our students.

Aurora teachers are dedicated, hard-working educators who – like their students - are lifelong learners. They bring to their classrooms dynamic educational strategies and high expectations for every child in a kind and caring atmosphere. We are dedicated to providing an environment that supports students, teachers and parents as partners in the educational process and we welcome all community members to become involved in the education process at Aurora.

On a daily basis, I have watched our teachers inspire your children, instill in them confidence and character and expand their ever-growing knowledge base. I have learned a great deal from our teachers and students as well. Watching teachers inspire their students to succeed is a wonderful lesson in leadership. Seeing our students forge through difficult lessons and question the status quo are invaluable reminders of the power of perseverance and independent thinking.
