WFPS Calendar Survey

Every November, the Calendar Committee begins meeting to draft a calendar for the upcoming school year for the Board to consider and adopt in late-January. Because of this collaborative committee process, the adopted calendars for 2011-12 and 2012-13 look slightly different. It is always a challenge for the Committee to try and balance the requirements from the state with the desires of our community.

During the last meeting of the Committee, members agreed that a survey should be created as a way to gather input on what the people in our district feel most strongly about in terms of calendar requirements. That survey was created, and will be available from Wednesday, May 9 through Friday, June 8 from this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013-14WFPS_Calendar. The results from this survey will be reviewed and used by the Committee when they begin meeting to draft the 2013-14 calendar.
