Dear District Staff:
The district’s 2009-10 United Way Campaign will be kicked off next week at Cheney Middle School, Harwood Elementary and Horace Elementary, with the rest of the district following close behind.
We had a goal last year of $25,000, which we exceeded by over $400! This year, our goal will focus on participation rather than dollars. During the 2008-09 campaign, 110 staff members completed their pledge form. This year, our goal is for 300 staff members to complete their pledge form.
Every donation helps area children prepare for school through “Imagination Library,” “Success by Six,” and many other United Way funded programs!
Ninety-nine percent of the dollars you contribute are staying in your community to help your friends, neighbors, or co-workers.
